Constantia Corporate Wine Tour
Depart 10:30 am from the Victoria and Alfred Hotel at the Waterfront in a luxury air conditioned bus with a qualified tour guide.
Drive along the scenic Atlantic seaboard past Camps Bay and Llandudno through Hout Bay and over Constantia Nek into the Constantia Valley, home to the oldest vineyards in South Africa.
Drive past Pollsmoor prison where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated after Robben Island.
Arrive at www.steenbergfarm.com. in the Constantia Valley and do a private tasting up near the modern Cellar at Bistro 1682 in their executive tasting room.This will include their 5 flagship wines & be hosted by an educated wine ambassador. A short drive through the estate will take us to the lunch venue.
Enjoy a 3- Course luncheon in gorgeous historic surroundings at Catharina’s.
There is time for a wine tasting at Groot Constantia hosted by their winemaker.

Stellenbosch and Franschhoek Corporate Wine Tour
Join us for a relaxed and informative visit to the Cape Winelands. Be introduced to the 350 year wine heritage and culture of the Cape by visiting two wine farms in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and enjoying lunch in the beautiful countryside.
Depart the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront at 10:30 in an air-conditioned touring vehicle with a driver and professionally registered wine tourism guide.
On the outskirts of the French Huguenot village of Franschhoek founded in 1685, we will stop for a special wine tasting at Antonji Rupert www.rupertwines.com housed in an historic manor house with breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains.
Franschhoek is known as the ‘foodie capital of South Africa’. We will enjoy a leisurely 3 course lunch at La Petite Ferme www.lapetiteferme.co.za with its spectacular view over the valley originally known as Olifantshoek or Elephant’s Corner because of the many elephants that roamed there.
After lunch we will drive over scenic Helshoogte or ‘Hell’s Heights’ pass and through the oak-avenue lined university town of Stellenbosch founded by the first Governor of the Cape Simon Van der Stel in 1679.
We will return to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront around 5:30 pm.
