We believe that travel is the best education. Travel changes us and we return home seeing with new eyes.
As seasoned travellers, who have lived and worked all over the world, we now call Cape Town our home. Vindigo Travel is a family-run business operated by ourselves and a team of passionate travel professionals.
Melissa Sutherland is the extrovert, networker par excellence, whose focus is on Sales and Marketing, Curating Tours and Guiding Services. A former diplomat she has been putting together contact tours and itineraries for more than 25 years. She loves excellent wine, cooking, hiking, puzzles and is a painter.
Ian is the introvert, our Finance, Operations and Strategy guy with an artistic bent. A qualified engineer and MBA from Columbia University in NYC, he’s worked as an international management consultant and banker in the USA and Australia. In his spare time he writes historical novels and loves words, nature, roast leg of lamb and surfing.
Between the two of us we are conversant in English, Afrikaans, German, French and are learning Russian.
